The Demise We Share

The idea of death is frightening Because it’s inevitable, and something inescapable, it’s something that I think about often. This project came about when I was pondering my demise. I started to consider how I want my funeral to be and what clothes I would like to wear. I came to the idea that, once I depart, I wanted to be closer to the earth. I would like to be reincarnated as a tree to have a purpose after death. These thoughts set me on a path to create a video performance involving reparation for death.
